  1. The 2016 Buick Verano is a hot mess. Or at least, it will be once it catches on fire from fuel line leaks.

    General Motors found fuel lines that were not shaped correctly, causing the lines to touch the engines once installed in the vehicles. The supplier investigated and determined the machine operator responsible for the lines apparently wasn't trained well enough.

  2. GM is recalling more cars because the engine block heater cord can get damaged in the cold.

    That's right -- the device that's supposed to keep your engine toasty in the winter is unable to handle cold temperatures. That's like a snow tire deflating as soon as you drive over ice.
